Our Last Pick-A-Chick for 2026!

Why we do it:

  • Yes, you can order chicks anytime throughout the spring and summer through us.

  • BUT if you can’t hit the minimum of at least 10 chicks per order (5 per breed), then this is the event for you.

  • Pick from the breeds below to easily start a small backyard flock or just add a few to your existing one.

How it works:

  • Pick from the breeds below and decide what quantity you’d like - order may have to be adjusted when we call you for payment based on remaining availability!

  • Fill out the form at the bottom of this page - chicks are ordered as female

  • Pre-pay to finalize your order - pricing varies by chick (refer to breed descriptions)

  • Prepare for your chicks - figure out proper housing and get the lamps, bulbs, and starter feed. We carry options in the store so stop in and we’ll help you figure out what you’ll need!

  • Wait for the phone call on your selected Pick-a-Chick date

  • Pick up your chicks on your selected date during store hours - you MUST arrange pick-up on your selected date (we cannot keep chicks overnight)

  • Enjoy your feathery babies and all the joys of a backyard flock and fresh eggs!
