When is it:
Pick-a-chick is SOLD OUT for the season - if you are still in need of chicks under the usual 15 chick minimum, fill out the form below. If we have enough inquiries to hold another event, we may be able to fill your order (no guarantee)! No payment would be required unless we are able to hold another event.

Orders must be placed and paid for by Saturday April 20th Saturday May 4th
Chicks must be picked up on Thursday April 25th between 9am and 2pm SOLD OUT

Why we do it:
Yes, you can order chicks anytime throughout the spring and summer through us
BUT if you can’t hit the minimum of at least 15 chicks per order, then this is the event for you
Pick from the breeds below to easily start a small backyard flock or just add a few to your existing one
How it works:
Pick from the breeds below and decide what quantity you’d like
Stop in to the store or fill out the form below - chicks are ordered as PULLETS (female)
Pre-pay to finalize your order ($4.90 or $5.45 per chick depending on breed)
Prepare for your chicks - figure out proper housing and get the lamps, bulbs, and starter feed that you will need (we carry most of this in the store so stop in and we’ll help you figure out what you’ll need)
SOLD OUT - Thursday April 25th date is sold out! If you are prepaid for this date, you will receive a reminder email the week of and then a phone call once chicks are ready to pick up.
Pick up your chicks on Thursday May 9th - your chicks MUST be picked up this day between store hours of 9am-2pm
